10th Senate: Why Godswill Akpabio Will Not Be Elected As Senate President – Daniel Bwala

Daniel Bwala, an aide of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has made a claim that Godswill Akpabio will not be elected as Senate President. Bwala made this statement on Monday via his Twitter handle. It is important to note that Akpabio, a former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, had been chosen by his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), to become the Senate President.

However, Akpabio is currently facing opposition from other Senators such as Ali Ndume, Orji Uzor Kalu, and Jibrin Barau. These Senators are also vying for the position of Senate President.

It is unclear why Bwala made this statement or what evidence he has to support his claim. However, this statement has caused some speculation and discussion among political analysts and supporters of both the PDP and APC.

As of now, it is still uncertain who will become the next Senate President. The decision will ultimately be made by the Senators themselves, and it remains to be seen if Bwala’s claim will hold any weight in their decision-making process.

However, Bwala claimed that “the cloud gathering against his aspiration is heavy and thick.”

He wrote, “Godswill Akpabio would not be elected as Senate President. The cloud gathering against his aspiration is heavy and thick. It is not motivated by religion, but regional and as well as the revenge of the coalition of all foes. Most of the senators following him are not with him.”
