1979: How I Avenged The Brutal Killing Of My Spiritual Leader – Pst Dr Paul Enenche Reveals

During the first day of the May 2023 Destiny Recovery Convention, Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche, the General Overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, spoke via a live broadcast on the church’s official Facebook handle. He shared a short story about a pastor who was brutally killed in 1979 and how he avenged his death.

The story was about a pastor who was murdered by some unknown assailants. The pastor was said to have been a very dedicated and committed man of God who had a great impact on his community. His death was a great loss to his family and the church.

Pastor Enenche narrated how he and some other pastors went in search of the killers and eventually found them. They then prayed and declared God’s judgement on the murderers. The next day, the news broke that the murderers had died in a car accident.

The cleric used the story to emphasize the power of prayer and the importance of standing up for what is right. He encouraged the congregation to always seek justice and to never give up in the face of adversity.

In his words, he narrated from the video (2:25:33): “When we grew up in the year 1979, we started The Revival in our city. The young man we were following was killed brutally. We woke up to see his dead body along a road. Victor Ubo was his name. He was a radical rural Evangelist. During his days, 3 days fasting was without water.

“We never knew an embargo was placed upon us. To avenge his death, I went on our usual dry fasting because he was our leader. Then the Lord said to me, I have the final say; that embargo will be removed. And that was the end. I prophesy today, whatever that stops others will not stop you”.
