Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, the Chairman of the Lagos State Park and Garages Management Committee has distanced himself from the sales of sticker that features the image of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was reported on Tuesday that there was a crisis in the Agbado neighborhood of Lagos State as transport workers were required to pay N500 to post campaign stickers for Bola Tinubu’ s campaign on their Keke.
There was a viral video circulating that one of the union men at the park was seen demanding N500 from a Keke driver while also attempting to place the stickers on his Keke.
However, the Keke driver protested and insisted on not paying while insisting that the union official remove the sticker from his Keke in exchange for payment.
The development has elicited a lot of responses from internet users, many of whom have directed their criticism toward the APC candidate whose images were shown on the sticker.
According to what we hear, the stickers also carry the images of MC Oluomo, the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo- Olu, and Kashim Shettima, who is running as the vice presidential candidate for the APC.
In a video response to the outburst that was published on Instagram on Tuesday night, MC Oluomo stated that he was not involved in the production of the campaign stickers.
