Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, recently marked his 50th birthday in style.
The award-winning singer turned 50 on Thursday, September 18, and was celebrated at home by his wife, Natasha. The intimate gathering also had close family members in attendance, including his mother.

In other news,,,,,,A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dan Ulasi, has said former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, would give any political platform “a huge electoral boost” if he returned ahead of the 2027 polls.
In an interview on Arise TV, Ulasi stated that Obi’s influence “still cuts across Nigeria, especially among young voters,” describing him as “a credible figure whose support base remains one of the strongest in the country.”
He argued that Obi’s comeback to the PDP would “instantly lift the party’s chances” in 2027, noting that the former Anambra governor enjoys “nationwide trust, which is rare in Nigeria’s current political climate.” Ulasi added: “Any platform that embraces him can almost be certain of securing between 30% to 40% of votes, even before campaigning begins.”
He stressed that Obi’s “clean reputation has remained a major selling point” and that his politics, which resonates with “young Nigerians and professionals,” could help revamp the PDP’s image.
On zoning, Ulasi acknowledged that the PDP had agreed to zone its ticket to the South but insisted it should be “micro-zoned to the South-East, which remains the only region yet to produce a president since Nigeria’s return to democracy.”
He said: “Such a move would not only be just but also strengthen the party’s appeal in the South-East, where feelings of political exclusion remain strong.”
Ulasi also disclosed that the PDP is recovering from its 2023 divisions, saying recent meetings with governors show unity is returning. “The PDP is determined to rebuild trust among Nigerians by presenting itself as a more disciplined and credible opposition. Obi’s involvement, if it happens, would fast-track this rebuilding process,” he said.
He concluded: “The coming months will be crucial in determining whether Obi makes a return to the PDP or chooses another political path before 2027.”
