In a recent video on YouTube, the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has delivered a message titled “The Tragedy of Wasted Opportunities,” urging believers to seek divine help in recognizing and utilizing opportunities that come their way.
In his address, Olukoya emphasized the importance of vigilance and prayer in preventing missed chances that could affect one’s destiny. He shared seven specific prayer points which, he said, were drawn from his personal prayer archive.
“Father, let me not waste my divine opportunities in the name of Jesus,” Olukoya declared as the first prayer point. He continued, “Father, let me not squander my open heavens in the name of Jesus. Father, let me not run into deficit in the bank of heaven in the name of Jesus.”
The fourth point focused on future blessings: “Father, let not my past be better than my future in the name of Jesus.” Olukoya further prayed, “Father, let me not become history while I’m still living in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Highlighting the dangers of failing spiritually, he added, “Father, let me not become a negative example in the name of Jesus. Father, let me not go into slumber in a sinking boat in the name of Jesus.”
Olukoya explained that the chosen scripture for his sermon illustrated how opportunities could be missed if believers were not spiritually alert. He stressed the need for individuals to stay connected to God and to act decisively when divine doors are opened.
