Kano Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has appointed popular Kannywood actor Sani Musa Danja as his Special Adviser on Youth and Sports.
A statement by the governor’s spokesman, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Sunday, said the appointment was effective immediately.
The governor also approved the appointment of new aides and advisers, with Dr Ibrahim Musa appointed as the governor’s medical examiner and health adviser.
Other appointees are:
Dr. Hadiza Lawan Ahmad – Special Adviser, Investment and Government-Industry Partnership.
Barr. Aminu Hussain – Special Adviser, Law/Constitutional Affairs
Dr. Ismail Lawan Suleiman – Special Adviser, Population
Nasiru Isa Jarma – Special Adviser, Local Government Organizations
Hon. Wada Ibrahim Daho – First Commissioner, SUBEB
Hon. Ado Danjummai Wudil – Secretary General, Education Commission
Dr. Binta Abubakar – Secretary General, Public Education Commission
Hon. Abubakar Ahmad Bichi – Director General, Small Business and Street Trades Commission
Hon. Abdullahi Yaryasa – Member, Kano State House of Assembly Affairs Commission
Dr. Yusuf Ya’u Gambo – Chairman, Constitution and Planning Commission
