BREAKING: Ghana’s President-elect visits Tinubu

Ghana’s President-elect, John Dramani Mahama, has paid a courtesy call on President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.

This was disclosed by Tinubu’s media aide, Dada Olusegun, in a post on his X page on Tuesday.

He said, “The President-elect of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama, paid a courtesy call on President Tinubu at the State House yesterday.”

The visit follows a congratulatory message sent by Tinubu to Mahama following his victory in the December 7 presidential election.

DAILY POST reports that Tinubu, in a telephone conversation with Mahama, expressed hope that his return to power would strengthen peace in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

He also expressed his desire to work with the new Mahama administration to strengthen ties in various fields and work towards a better future for the West African region.
