Tajudeen Abbas, the Speaker of the House of Representatives has debunked report that he is owing the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) outstanding payments for land titles in Abuja.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Musa Krishi, the spokesperson for the Speaker said he has only one piece of land allocated to him by the FCT.
Krishi said the speaker ha since settled every outstanding payment on the land had been settled since October 2024.
He also said that he believes the FCTA must have published the speaker’s name alongside other debtors in error
