BREAKING: “Count your blessings” – Pastor Adeboye urges Nigerians to praise God despite hardship

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) worldwide, has called on Nigerians to embrace gratitude and consistently praise God, regardless of the nation’s economic difficulties.

Speaking during the RCCG New Year Thanksgiving Service, themed “All Round Praise,” held at The Throne of Grace headquarters in Ebute Metta, Lagos, Adeboye emphasized the importance of acknowledging God’s blessings and unseen victories in everyday life.

He reminded attendees, including numerous royal fathers present, of the privilege of witnessing a new year when many others did not, urging them to praise God for visible and hidden acts of divine intervention.

His words: “God loves appreciation. When we thank Him for what He has done, He will do even more. This new year can become a landmark year for those who believe and consistently do His will.”

He further highlighted the spiritual significance of gratitude, noting that God’s blessings often extend to battles we never realized were fought on our behalf.

Adeboye encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful, as praising God could lead to transformative outcomes for individuals and the nation at large.
