The Corps Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps, Dr. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, has vowed to eliminate every criminal who dares to threaten the peace of the state.
Omoyele assured the residents of Osun State that adequate security measures are in place, emphasising that the safety of the citizens remains the top priority of the Corps.
The statement, signed on Sunday by Yusuf Idowu Abass, Public Relations Officer of Osun Amotekun Corps, reaffirmed the Corps’ unwavering commitment to ensuring the state remains free from criminal elements seeking to cause harm.
“We are sending a clear and unambiguous message to all criminals: Osun is not a sanctuary for bandits, kidnappers, or any group intending to disrupt the peace and security of our people,” Omoyele stated.
“We will not tolerate the presence of these lawless elements in our midst. Our personnel are fully deployed, vigilant, and ready to combat any threats with the utmost force,” he added.
The Corps Commander assured that Amotekun is actively tracking and monitoring all suspicious movements across the state. He warned that any attempt by criminals to establish a foothold in Osun would be met with relentless opposition.
“Amotekun is not just a watchful presence; we are a force for peace, and we will continue to intensify our operations against terrorism, kidnapping, and banditry. We will flush out every criminal who dares to threaten the peace of Osun.”
Omoyele further stressed that while the Corps understands the concerns of the people, the safety of every individual in the state is non-negotiable.
“We will stop at nothing to ensure that bandits, kidnappers, and terrorists have no foothold in this state,” he declared.
