BREAKING: Trump Arrives In Washington Ahead Of Inauguration

Donald Trump landed in Washington on Saturday, preparing for his inauguration and the start of his second term as President of the United States.

The billionaire Republican, accompanied by his wife, Melania, and family members, arrived at Dulles International Airport before heading to a private event at his golf club in Virginia, which included a fireworks display.

In an interview with NBC News on Saturday, Trump pledged to sign a record number of executive orders after delivering his inaugural address on Monday.

“The number hasn’t been determined yet, but it will be record-setting,” He added, “We’ll begin undoing many of the policies from the Biden administration right after the address.”

Among his first-term promises is a mass deportation program targeting undocumented migrants. “The expulsion will begin very, very quickly,” Trump stated, adding, “I can’t say which cities, but you’ll see it firsthand.”

Immigration Crackdown Underway

Tom Homan, Trump’s newly appointed “border czar,” revealed that the administration’s plans for immigration raids were evolving following media leaks.

Reports of a major raid in Chicago on Tuesday have drawn significant attention, though Homan said no final decision had been made.

“We’re looking at this leak and will make a decision based on it,” Homan told The Washington Post. He emphasized that the administration’s actions would not be constrained by prior guidelines, stating, “We’ll be arresting people across the country, uninhibited by any prior administration policies.”

Unlike recent inaugurations held on the steps of the US Capitol, Trump announced on Friday that the ceremony would move indoors due to frigid weather conditions expected in Washington.

“I think we made the right decision,” Trump told NBC. “The coldness could have been dangerous for many people.”

While Trump attended a private event on Saturday, thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of Washington to protest his policies.

Meanwhile, his schedule includes a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery on Sunday, followed by a rally of his supporters in Washington and a dinner event later that evening.

Trump’s plans for sweeping executive orders and his hardline immigration policies have drawn sharp criticism from opponents but continue to galvanize his supporters.
