The governor of Kaduna state, Uba Sani, has said that the approach and policies adopted by President Bola Tinubu since assuming office on May 29, 2023, will reset Nigeria.

Sani said that through the present administration’s policies, there would be a conspicuous improvement in the lives of citizens across the country.

The governor while speaking at a one-day lecture organized by the Arewa Think Tank (ATT) in Kaduna said Tinubu has been a performer since his time as the governor of Lagos State.

At the event themed “Agricultural Perspective of Nigeria in the Last 64 Years of Independence”, the governor urged Nigerians to exercise a little more patience with the president.

According to Sani, in no time, Nigerians would start enjoying the fruits of the reforms actualised from the presidents reforms.

“In fact, we are already turning the corner. The economy is fast improving. Very soon the positive impact of the reforms would be felt by Nigerians. What the President needs at this critical time is the support of our people.

“At independence, Agriculture was the mainstay of the Nigerian economy. The three regions effectively utilized resources from Agriculture to build critical infrastructure and develop human capital.

“Due to the discovery of oil, we abandoned Agriculture. We are the poorer for it. We must return to Agriculture and invest heavily in it. It holds the key to addressing the challenges of poverty, unemployment and insecurity,” Governor Sani said.
