Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu, wife of former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has made her way back to Nigeria after being freed from prison in the UK.
According to a trusted source, Mrs. Ekweremadu arrived in Nigeria on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
This follows her conviction alongside her husband and Dr. Obinna Obeta, who were sentenced for their involvement in an organ trafficking scheme.
Senator Ekweremadu received a 10-year sentence, while Mrs. Ekweremadu was sentenced to six years.
The return of Mrs. Ekweremadu has sparked celebrations across Enugu State, with many hopeful for the swift return of her husband as well.
