BREAKING: Leicester City Coach, Ruud Van Nistelrooy Insists Wilfred Ndidi Is Not For Sale

Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has stressed that the club is committed to keeping Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi this month, despite interest from AS Monaco and Atletico Madrid.

In an interview with BBC, van Nistelrooy emphasized Wilfred Ndidi’s importance to the team. When asked where the Nigeria international is on his way out of the club, the Dutch tactician said, “No, of course not”.

He added, “Wilfred is a crucial player and person in the squad, and I’m delighted to see him nearing a return to help the team. His presence has been missed, and we recognize how vital he will be in the coming months as we strive to improve our position.”

Ndidi, who signed a new three-year contract with the Foxes last summer, has made significant contributions this season with three assists in 15 league appearances.

In another development, Sheffield Wednesday are considering a potential signing of Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis. The Sky Bet Championship club seek to bolster their attack as they aim for promotion to the Premier League.

According to The Star, Dennis is one of several players being evaluated by the Owls. The 27-year-old has not yet appeared for Nottingham Forest this season, but he remains a sought-after talent with interest from various clubs in England and abroad.

Following a successful spell with Watford in the 2021-2022 season, where he was the club’s top scorer with 10 goals, Dennis is recognized as a valuable addition to any squad.
