BREAKING: Fake Student Arrested At FUNAAB

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested 28-year-old Awoyemi Moses for impersonating a student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) and stealing a mobile phone.

Police reports confirm that Moses had been illegally residing in the Needs Assessment Hostel, deceiving students into believing he was one of them.

His cover was blown when a student, Abdulmadjid Mohammed, reported his phone missing.

Authorities tracked the stolen Samsung device and recovered it from Moses.

According to the Command’s spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, Moses confessed to the crime during interrogation.

“The suspect admitted to impersonating a FUNAAB student and stealing the phone. He is currently under investigation and will be charged to court after preliminary inquiries,” Odutola stated.

The police have assured students of increased security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
