Even those who have embezzled money are seeking honest managers for their fortune.

Nigeria’s former vice president, Yemi Osinbajo had said that it has become difficult to find people of integrity these days.

Speaking at the matriculation ceremony of MIVA Open University in Abuja on Saturday, Osinbajo said it is importantly for the students to know that integrity pays.

He added that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find people with integrity across Nigeria as everyone seems to be on the cast lane of acquiring wealth.

Stating that people with integrity are highly sought after, the former vice president said even those who have stolen public funds are seeking individuals with integrity to help manage their stolen wealth.

His words, “If you borrow money, you should pay it back. Don’t make promises you can’t fulfil. Integrity pays. It is getting scarcer.

“Even thieves are looking for men and women of integrity to keep their stolen money with. Life is a marathon. It’s not a hundred-metre race,” Osinbajo added.
