Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, has issued a warning to political appointees against any form of absenteeism.
He said that such actions could foster a lackadaisical approach to governance.
The Governor’s directive was made during a crucial meeting with his Special Advisers at the Government House in Dutse.
Speaking at the meeting, which focused on critical strategies for enhancing the state’s growth, Governor Namadi emphasized that the administration would not tolerate negligence or a nonchalant attitude from its appointees.
“I express my sincere gratitude to all of you for your dedication and loyalty, but I urge you to double your efforts and remain committed to your respective responsibilities,” the Governor remarked.
In his address, Namadi stressed that while the state has made significant strides, sustained progress can only be achieved through hard work, commitment, and zero tolerance for indolence.
“This government will not condone complacency, and I expect everyone in my cabinet to actively participate in driving this vision forward,” he added.
Governor Namadi reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to excellence and urged all political office holders to align their actions with the state’s developmental objectives.
