BREAKING: Tinubu presides over FEC meeting

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently presiding over the 22nd Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the State House Council Chambers.

Before the meeting began, he swore in 21 Federal Commissioners for the Revenue Allocation and Fiscal Commission, the National Population Commission, and eight newly appointed Permanent Secretaries.

The new federal commissioners are:

– Linda Oti (Abia)

– Akpan Effiong (Akwa Ibom)

– Enefe Ekene (Anambra)

– Prof. Steve Ugba (Benue)

– Chief Eyonsa (Cross-River)

– Aruviere Egharhevwe (Delta)

– Nduka Awuregu (Ebonyi)

-Victor Eboigbe (Edo)

– Wumi Ogunlola (Ekiti)

– Ozo Obodougo (Enugu)

– Kabir Mashi (Katsina).

– Adamu Fanda (Kano)

– Dr. Kunle Wright (Lagos)

– Aliyu Abdulkadir (Nasarawa)

– Bako Shetima (Niger)

– Samuel Durojaye (Ogun)

– Nathaniel Adejutelegan (Ondo)

– Saad Ibrahim (Plateau)

– Modu-Aji Juluri (Yobe)

– Bello Garba (Zamfara)

– Mohammed Usman (Gombe).

The newly sworn in eight permanent secretaries appointed in the Federal Civil Service to fill existing vacancies in some states and geopolitical zones are:

⁠- Ogbodo Nnam (Enugu State)

– ⁠Kalba Usman (Gombe State)

– Oyekunle Nwakuso (Rivers State)

-⁠ ⁠Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State)

During the FEC meeting, the president also signed the Federal University of Environment and Technology, Tai (Ogoniland) Establishment bill into law.
