
Former Netherlands international and Feyenoord legend Robin van Persie has officially been named the new head coach of Feyenoord, signing a contract that will keep him at the club until June 2027.
Van Persie, renowned for his illustrious playing career with Feyenoord, Arsenal, and Manchester United, now embarks on a new chapter in football management.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the appointment on Friday via X, revealing that Van Persie will be supported by Rene Hake, who previously worked as an assistant under Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
“Robin van Persie signs in today as new Feyenoord head coach until June 2027. Former Erik ten Hag’s assistant Rene Hake will join his staff too,” Romano wrote.
