Popular Yoruba actress Ayomide Dawodu has publicly addressed allegations linking her to a long-term affair with the actor and claims that she threatened his wife, Mrs. Ruth Adekola.
The controversy, initially sparked by a report from Gistlover, alleged that a woman, referred to as the “Stretchmark Queen,” has been romantically involved with Odunlade since 2018 and has made several attempts to become his second wife.
According to the blog, she has repeatedly disrupted his marriage, even resorting to spiritual manipulation and harassment through anonymous phone calls.
It was also alleged that at one point, she became pregnant, but Odunlade insisted on an abortion, stating he could not take a second wife like fellow actor Segun Ogungbe.
However, Ayomide Dawodu, who was rumoured to be the woman in question, has now responded to these allegations via her official Instagram page.
In a strongly worded post, she denied any romantic involvement with Odunlade Adekola and firmly rejected claims that she ever threatened his wife.
“A false news is going on about me threatening Mrs. Adekola, known as Mummy D4. Please, I don’t even know her one-on-one, talk less of calling her phone number. Mr. Odunlade and I have been close friends and colleagues for 14 years, but trust me, no love affairs or dating between us as I speak.”
Ayomide further urged bloggers and the public to disregard the rumours, emphasizing that she has never interfered in Odunlade’s marriage and has no interest in disrupting his family.
“Please, I beg all bloggers to kindly disregard every news that I snatched Mr. Odun from his wife. The news is NOT TRUE.”
“Please, you all don’t know anything about me. I beg you in the name of God, don’t say negative things about me. Things don’t happen the way you all assume.”
