Armed military personnel have stormed the headquarters of Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) in Lagos.
According to reports, the soldiers, dressed in military uniforms, arrived at the company’s premises, located opposite MITV in Ikeja, around 7:40 am on Thursday.
As of the time of filing this report, staff and other individuals present in the office were being assaulted by the armed men.
The reason behind the attack remains unclear.
Although police officers have intervened, the armed group, reportedly led by a woman, has refused to back down.
