BREAKING: Police Arrest, Arraign Woman for Giving False Testimony at Ebuka Obi’s Church

Enugu State Police Command has confirmed the arrest and arraignment of 32-year-old Loveth Helen Alo for making false testimony at the Zion Prayer Ministry Movement Outreach in Lagos, Nigeria.

A statement from Enugu Police Command spokesperson, SP Daniel Ndukwe, revealed that the suspect was apprehended by detectives from the Legal Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on February 1, 2025.

According to Ndukwe, her arrest followed a petition alleging that she falsely claimed ownership of a five-bedroom duplex located in WTC Estate, Enugu.

During her testimony at the Zion Prayer Ministry Movement Outreach in Lagos, she purportedly presented the property as her own, asserting that God had blessed her with its acquisition. Footage of the building was shown in the church during her address. In another viral video, she falsely claimed that she had bought the house for two hundred million Naira (N200,000,000.00).

Ndukwe stated that, “During interrogation, the suspect admitted to her wrongdoing, confessing that she acted alone. She was arraigned on March 11, 2025, before the Enugu North Magisterial District Court on five counts, including obtaining by false pretence with intent to defraud, defamation of character, and attempting to commit a felony by seeking to sell the property.

“She was granted bail, and the case has been adjourned to April 9, 2025, for further proceedings.””
