Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has opened up on her emotions toward her former partner and music collaborator Wizkid.
Naija News reports that in a video that has quickly gained attention online, the songstress revealed that performing with Wizkid brings back strong memories of their past, making it an emotional experience for her.
The singer recalled their reunion at the Great Lagos Countdown 2025, a popular annual music event in Lagos.
She explained that seeing Wizkid again brought back feelings she had six years ago and that she still struggles to hide her emotions when they perform together.
Tiwa said that despite the challenges in their past relationship, she remembers the happy moments they shared.
She admitted that if she could choose one man in her life, it would be Wizkid.
She said, “It’s uncomfortable performing with Wizkid on stage. I admit I’m still in love with him.
