Founder of the Margaret Ogbeide Memorial Foundation, Amb. Victor Ogbeide has been awarded the ‘Icon of Hope to Humanity’ by the Advocates for Good Governance in Nigeria in recognition of his remarkable contributions to sustainable development, societal transformation, and humanitarian service.
The award presented as Certificate of Noble Prize for Excellence, recognized Ogbeide’s outstanding efforts in promoting effective service delivery, capacity building, and community development across Nigeria and Africa.
Ogbeide had on a yearly basis awarded scholarships to underprivileged pupils and students in various communities through his MOM Foundation as well as empowering youths.
Presenting the award, the representative of AGGN, Mr Monday Ojoma stated that God has been using Ogbeide to indeed touch the lives of the people, especially through his education support initiative.
He said, “His dedication to providing renewable energy solutions, security systems, youth empowerment, and education support initiatives has positively impacted thousands of lives.”
Ogbeide who expressed his gratitude, told South-South PUNCH shortly after receiving the award on Tuesday that the recognition was a testament to his shared commitment to building a better society.
He said, “I dedicate this award to every young mind striving for excellence and every community in need of transformation. Through Dee-Jovicx Limited and the MOM Foundation, we remain committed to creating sustainable solutions that uplift lives and drive meaningful change.
“As a visionary entrepreneur, we will continue to lead initiatives that foster progress, particularly in renewable energy, security technology, and youth development. Ogbeide who is the Managing Director/CEO of Dee-Jovicx Limited noted that the company is a leading provider of solar energy solutions, security systems, and communication technologies in Nigeria with over a decade of expertise.
He said DeeJovicx has completed nationwide projects that improve energy access, security, and digital connectivity and has empowered hundreds of underprivileged youth through education, health, and environmental initiatives through the MOM Foundation.
He stated that since its inception, the foundation has supported numerous students, families, and communities, aligning with its mission of fostering inclusive and sustainable development.
