Donald Trump’s latest claim about U.S. aid to Ukraine just crumbled under the weight of cold, hard facts. The former president has repeatedly insisted that America has contributed more than the UK and Europe combined—but a bombshell new analysis proves otherwise.
According to research by Dutch defense analysts at Oryx, Europe has outpaced the U.S. in military support across the board, from tanks to missile systems. While Trump touts American generosity, the numbers tell a different story. The U.S. has sent just 32 tanks compared to Europe’s staggering 887, and when it comes to artillery, Europe has outgunned America by a jaw-dropping margin—772 self-propelled guns versus the U.S.’s mere 18.
Even Britain, under Prime Minister Keir Starmer, has stepped up in ways Trump failed to acknowledge. The UK has pledged £12.8 billion in aid, with an additional £3 billion annually for “as long as it takes.” British forces have also led the way in supplying long-range missiles and advanced battlefield weaponry, making a significant impact on Ukraine’s defenses.
Trump’s misleading statements don’t stop there. In February, he boldly claimed that the U.S. had sent $350 billion in aid—more than three times the actual figure. In reality, Congress has only allocated $174 billion, much of which went toward buying U.S. equipment rather than direct support for Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Trump’s brief halt on intelligence-sharing with Ukraine reportedly gave Russian forces a critical advantage, particularly in frontline battles near Kursk. Though the U.S. later restored intelligence flow, military experts suggest the damage had already been done.
Adding insult to injury, Trump’s recent attempt to broker a “peace deal” with Vladimir Putin appears to have backfired spectacularly. Instead of securing a meaningful ceasefire, analysts say Trump handed Putin a strategic win on a silver platter. Security expert Anthony Glees claims the Russian leader is “laughing his backside off” after playing Trump like a fiddle.
With mounting evidence contradicting his statements, Trump finds himself once again caught in a web of his own making—this time, with Europe proving him wrong in the most embarrassing way possible.
