Former Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has reportedly agreed to discuss with Real Madrid over the possibility of being the coach of the Spanish giants.

Recall that Jurgen Klopp stepped away from coaching last summer after nearly a decade with Liverpool, but now seems willing to return to the sidelines.

Real Madrid appear poised to search for a successor to Carlo Ancelotti this summer, as the Italian coach has faced challenges in effectively utilizing Kylian Mbappe.

Many expect Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso to be a frontrunner for the role, whether this year or next, a sentiment that has circulated in Madrid since the early part of the season.

Recently, however, there have been intriguing reports linking Klopp to the position, with some influential figures in the Santiago Bernabeu’s director’s box advocating for him to Real Madrid President Florentino Perez.

According to Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte, Klopp is indeed willing to entertain negotiations with Real Madrid. Sources indicate that he has found his current responsibilities at Red Bull challenging, as he oversees their global football operations.

While it would certainly be a notable development, considering Klopp’s substantial earnings of around €12 million annually at Red Bull, the demanding nature of managing at the Bernabeu could present another level of pressure.

Nonetheless, the allure of managing Real Madrid is significant, and the recent surge of reports about Klopp’s potential move suggests growing interest. At this point, however, Xabi Alonso remains the leading candidate for the job.
