Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, has disclosed that labelling Hamas fighters as terrorists is one of the crass actions of Western politicians (Europe and America). Yesterday, Khamenei revealed this in a tweet from his official account.
He claims that the Western World’s hypocrisy is evident to all because, despite the French people’s resistance to German occupation of Paris during World War II and their subsequent fight to reclaim their territory, the French were not labelled terrorists by the West. He claimed that labelling Palestinian resistance fighters (Hamas) as terrorists is just one of the many heinous acts committed by Western politicians. He claims that because the Palestinian fighters are protecting their homeland from Jewish occupiers, they are not terrorists.
“One of the many shameless actions of Western politicians is them calling the Palestinian fighters (Hamas) who are defending their homeland terrorists. The Germans occupied Paris in World War II. Were the French who were fighting the Germans terrorists?” Khamenei wrote.
