Actress and filmmaker Rashidat Anjorin, popularly known as Indomie, has revealed how prolonged isolation once took a severe toll on her mental health.
She disclosed that it was a period in her life where she was experiencing loneliness, depression and emotional struggles.
Naija News reports that the thespian made the disclosure as a guest on the ‘Talk to B’ podcast.
The actress recalled how the experience pushed her into a dark place, leading her to make unusual decisions, including asking a man out herself. She said the loneliness became so overwhelming at one point that she contemplated taking her own life.
“I made a move towards a man, something I had never done before.
“I was so depressed that for three days I was missing and nowhere to be found. I wanted to end it all,” the actress said. She also added that being alone is a disease except for those who do not know.
“When someone dies, it takes six people to carry the coffin. If those six people are in your life to support your progress, then you understand why companionship matters. Everything is not about money,” she said.
The filmmaker also appreciated Funke Akindele, Taiwo Adebayo, Sodiq Adebayo, and Blackman, noting that they were supportive of her and helped build her career.
Favor As Higher Power?
(The hidden truth)
Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
