After Datti states that respecting Tinubu does not preclude him from being called a drug dealer, FFK responds

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation and member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has responded to a statement made by Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed, the Labour Party’s (LP) vice presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election. Remember that Baba Ahmed had previously declared that he would continue to call Bola Tinubu a drug dealer even if he showed respect for Tinubu. Using a quote from Baba Ahmed, Fani-Kayode posted this on his page, stressing the need for Nigerians to retake their nation by focusing their energies on battling alleged enemies.

In his reaction, Fani-Kayode expressed little surprise at such a statement, attributing it to the Vice Presidential Candidate of the Obedient Movement. Fani-Kayode suggested that five months post-election, Datti and his associates have not moved beyond their electoral defeat.

Fani-Kayode quoted Datti Baba-Ahmed as saying, “Showing Tinubu respect does not mean I will not call him a drug dealer. Remove the guns from the hands of Nigerians and redirect them against the enemies of Nigeria. Nigerians must reclaim the country”.
