Emeka Rollas, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has revealed that the mother of the late actor, Junior Pope, suspects that her son did not die by drowning.
In a recent interview, Rollas shared that Junior Pope’s Cameroonian mother was taken aback by the news of his alleged drowning. He added that CPR was performed on Pope after he was retrieved from the water after four hours, but he did not survive.
“I met with his mother yesterday, and the speculations online have led her to believe that her son was murdered,” Rollas stated. “I had to inform her that I was also supposed to be on that boat.”
Rollas further dismissed claims that CPR was not performed on Pope. “Anyone who says they didn’t perform CPR on Junior Pope is lying,” he asserted. “He was retrieved from the water after spending over four hours submerged.”
