Akpabio “I Was Assured That I Had Malaria, Mingled With Stress, Which Could Be Known As Exhaustion”

On December 15, 2023, Senator Godswill Akpabio, the current Senate President of Nigeria and the former governor of Akwa Ibom State, told reporters at the National Assembly that his doctor had told him he had malaria mixed with stress, which is another word for exhaustion, when he went home.

According to Daily Trust, the Senate President of Nigeria, Senator Godswill Akpabio said “What eventually happened after the event was a show of humanity. I went home and I called my doctors and I was assured that I had malaria, mingled with stress, which could also be described in another way as exhaustion. In fact, anybody could be exhausted. Please, drink water daily so that you don’t get exhausted.”

The Senate President of Nigeria, Senator Godswill Akpabio assured the good citizens of Nigeria that the National Assembly was intact and they will continue their duty to make sure that the 2024 budget was passed before the end of the year.
