Apampa is not LP N/Chairman, if he disobeys the rules& regulations of LP & NLC He’s onhis own-Ajaero

Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), recently addressed the media, discussing various aspects of the country’s economy and the Labour Party. During the conversation, he was asked about his perspective on Lamidi Apampa’s role within the Labour Party.

In response, Joe Ajaero emphasized that he only recognizes Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the Labour Party. He clarified that he is unaware of any other individual assuming that position and does not acknowledge Lamidi Apampa as the National Chairman. He explicitly stated, “The Labour Party National Chairman that I am familiar with is Julius Abure, and I am not acquainted with anyone else.”

Joe Ajaero firmly asserted that Lamidi Apapa does not hold the position of National Chairman in the Labour Party. He further expressed that if Apampa chooses to disregard the regulations and guidelines set by the LP and the NLC, he will bear the consequences alone. Ajaero emphasized that Apampa cannot forcefully impose himself upon their organization.

Additionally, Ajaero highlighted that if the court suspends Julius Abure, it is the responsibility of the LP to determine Abure’s replacement. He made it clear that it is unacceptable for someone unrelated to the party to emerge out of nowhere and claim the position of National Chairman.

According to him: “Lamidi Apampa is not the National Chairman of the Labour Party, and if he decides to disobey the rules and regulations of the LP and the NLC, he’s on his own. Lamidi Apampa can’t forcefully impose himself on us.”
