Steve Cooper is under more pressure after ten-man Spurs defeated Forest 2-0 to make it two wins in a row.
Richarlison’s header past Turner in stoppage time gave Forest their only goal of the match after the team had several excellent chances in the first half but were unable to convert them.
The hosts thought they’d equalised through Elanga just before the hour mark but his rifled finish was ruled out for offside by VAR. Kulusevski then made sure of the points, beating Turner for power as the keeper couldn’t keep out his shot.
Bissouma was sent off in the 70th minute for a reckless, high challenge on Yates, but Vicario made two excellent blocks on his line to make sure that Spurs came away with the three points.
Tottenham stay in fifth but move level on points with Manchester City above them.
They host Everton in their next game. As for Forest, that’s now six without a win for them, and they remain just five points above the drop zone. Next up for them is Bournemouth.
