A Nigerian journalist identified as Babajide Kolade- Otitoju has told the governor of Rivers state to promote peace in the PDP by forgetting all issues and forgiving members of the party who might have offended him. He asked the governor to settle with other members before it is too late to do so.
Babajide Kolade- Otitoju on Sunday advised members of the PDP to look for means to put the PDP crisis to an end in other to avoid any issues that would make the party extremely weak ahead of the 2023 polls.
He made the statement a few hours after the governor of Rivers state spoke about the chairman of the PDP and the reason why he would leave office before 2023. Governor Wike recently spoke about Iyorchia Ayu while maintaining that the party might lose the 2023 poll if the chairman does not resign.
In his recent statement, he claimed that the vote of confidence which has been passed on the administration of Iyorchia Ayu by members of the PDP NEC does not stop the chairman of the PDP from being removed when the time is right.
Meanwhile, the governor of Rivers state has been told to end the issues he has with the PDP in other for him to avoid being embarrassed ahead by the 2023 polls.
According to a report from Naija News, Babajide Kolade- Otitoju on Sunday, September 11, claimed that the governor of Rivers state has been acting like he owns all the offices and powers in the PDP due to his use of words and his recent moment.
