“Atiku Joined People To Push PDP Out Of Power; He Has Also Made PDP Lose An Opportunity

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suffered as a result of Atiku Abubakar’s political actions, according to PDP chieftain Lere Olayinka, following the Supreme Court’s ruling upholding President Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election. He disclosed that Atiku, along with a few others, had assisted in the PDP’s 2015 ouster from office and had caused the party to forfeit its chance to win the 2023 election.

Speaking in an interview with TVC, Olayinka stated that Atiku was the vice president in 2007 and left the PDP to join Action Congress when his chances of winning the election in the party as at that time was clear.

According to him, “Personally, I don’t have anything against him. What I have against him is that he made PDP to lose this opportunity. I don’t know whether we are going to have that kind of clear opportunity in the next 4 or 8 years. This opportunity that we have lost is about the clearest. And also, he joined some people in 2015 to push PDP out of power. He has joined people to push PDP out of power, he has also made PDP to lose an opportunity to come back to power. It is time for him to go and rest. In 2007 for instance, he was the vice president of this country when he left PDP to go to Action Congress to go and contest. When he lost in 2007, he came back again in 2011 to contest against Jonathan, he lost.
