Atiku’s Former Aide, Daniel Bwala, Breaks Silence After Appointment by Tinubu

Daniel Bwala, a former aide to Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to his appointment by President Bola Tinubu as the Special Adviser on Public Communications and Media (State House).

In a statement shared on his X account on Friday, Bwala expressed his gratitude for the trust and confidence placed in him by the President.

In his message, Bwala wrote, “I want to express my profound gratitude to Mr. President, @officialABAT, for the demonstration of confidence and trust by this appointment.

“I am indeed humbled and honoured to be called to serve our dear nation under the esteemed leadership of a courageous C-in-C and father.”

The appointment was announced on Thursday by the Presidency.

Bwala’s appointment has drawn attention due to his previous role as a close associate of Atiku Abubakar, an opponent of President Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election.
