Pastor Enoch Adeboye underscored that the actions of a few individuals from a specific group do not represent the entire group.
According to a report from reporters, Pastor Adeboye highlighted that just because an Islamic cleric advocated the First Lady (Oluremi Tinubu) to be killed, it doesn’t indict all Imams as murderers. He emphasized the injustice of generalizing all Muslims as terrorists based on the actions of groups like Boko Haram.
Additionally, Pastor Adeboye referenced the case of Hushpuppi, a Nigerian incarcerated for fraudulent activities, stressing that his actions shouldn’t smear the reputation of all Nigerians. He also reminded the congregation that the misconduct of one pastor and spouse should not tarnish the reputation of all pastors.
He remarked, “Because one Islamic cleric said they should kill our First Lady, does that mean every Imam is a murderer? “
