Manager Carlo Ancelotti shared this positive update before the match, stating, “Jude Bellingham is fit and ready for the final. He has recovered well, just like Modric and Tchouameni.”
He emphasized the importance of Bellingham’s contributions, noting, “He is currently in excellent form and has been crucial to our success.”
Modric participated in a recent training session after successfully overcoming a viral infection. Following their semi-final victory against Mallorca, both Bellingham and Federico Valverde experienced mild overloads but are on track for the final.
During training, players who featured prominently against Mallorca focused on recovery, while the substitutes worked diligently in the gym and on the field to maintain their fitness.
Winger Rodrygo has also expressed confidence in facing Barcelona, asserting that the La Liga title holders are well-prepared for the upcoming Supercopa de Espana match.
Real Madrid and Barcelona will meet at King Abdullah Sports City this Sunday. Barcelona recently secured their place in the final with a 2-0 victory over Athletic Club, while Real Madrid advanced decisively with a 3-0 win over Mallorca.
Los Blancos aim to secure their third trophy of the season, having already won the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. However, they are aware of the challenge posed by Barcelona, who defeated Carlo Ancelotti’s team 4-0 in their previous encounter at the Santiago Bernabeu in October 2024.
