An abroad-based Nigerian woman has stirred reactions online after humorously responding to her partner’s marriage proposal after 15 years together.
In a viral video, the man was seen on one knee with a ring in his outstretched hand as he proposed to her in public.
Rather than giving a conventional response, the excited woman jokingly demanded the ring and told her longtime partner to stop delaying their relationship and get her pregnant.
Her words in Igbo was loosely translated …
“Marry wetin? Common give me that ring. Since 15 years wey you don dey hang my leg. Guy stand up there and come and impregnate me”
