BREAKING: According to Iran’s Show of Force: Houthi Militia Receives Massive Arms Supply Amidst Yemen Conflict

A spokesman for Yemen’s army claimed that Iran has greatly expanded the amount of weapons it supplies to the Houthi group in Yemen, as reported by Iran International. This action follows severe setbacks for Tehran’s other armed allies throughout the Middle East.

Abdul Basit Al-Baher, the spokesman for Yemen’s military in the governorate of Taiz, revealed that Iran has provided the Houthi militia with enough supplies to sustain its attacks on Israel and global shipping for years to come.

The Houthi militia, also known as Ansar Allah, has been embroiled in a protracted conflict with the Yemeni government and its Saudi-led coalition allies since 2015.

Iran’s support for the Houthis has been a contentious issue, with the US and other Western countries accusing Tehran of providing military aid to the militia.

The increased weapons supply is seen as a strategic move by Iran to maintain its influence in the region, particularly in the wake of setbacks suffered by its other allies.

Iran’s support for the Houthis is also viewed as a means of exerting pressure on its regional rivals, including Saudi Arabia and Israel.

The Houthi militia has been responsible for numerous attacks on Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as on international shipping in the Red Sea.

The militia has also launched drone and missile attacks on Israel, which has responded with airstrikes on Houthi targets in Yemen.

As the conflict in Yemen continues to escalate, the international community is growing increasingly concerned about the humanitarian implications.

The UN has warned of a catastrophic humanitarian crisis in Yemen, with millions of civilians facing food insecurity, displacement, and lack of access to basic services.
