Nigerian musician Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, popularly known in music circles as Adekunle Gold, has voiced concern over the trend of wrong people leading the Nigerian music industry.
The ‘Okay’ crooner who made the remarks in a post shared on his X handle (formerly Twitter) on Saturday said people who have no business leading music conversations in the country are now controlling and destroying the local music industry.
According to him, artistes, producers, and real contributors are being overshadowed by people who don’t create, don’t understand, and don’t respect the craft.
“People who have no business leading music conversations are now controlling and destroying the industry.

“When the wrong people lead the conversation, they push the wrong narratives. That’s why real talent is overlooked and mediocrity thrives. Congratulations to everyone involved.” The musician wrote on his official X page.
