When former vice president of Nigeria and the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, declared he was prepared to lead an opposition coalition to overthrow the All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2023, Aisha Yesufu, a Nigerian activist, responded.
Recall that in a report by Vanguard News, Atiku Abubakar while congratulating the PDP Governors on the affirmation of their victories by the Supreme Court had mentioned that he is ready to lead a unified opposition to to oust the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC come 2027.
Aisha Yesufu in her reaction to Atiku’s statement welcomed his move and encouraged him to forge ahead with the coalition. While endorsing this plan by Atiku, she also referred to it as a good move
