BREAKING: All Over The World, Leadership Is Not The Sole Responsibility Of One Individual

In a report published on Sunday, March 10, 2024 by Vanguard, President Bola Tinubu urged affluent Nigerians to lend a hand to the less fortunate segments of society, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

His appeal coincides with the faithful’s observance of fasting and their charitable and compassionate deeds.

During a speech on Sunday in Kano, Tinubu stressed the value of group accountability in meeting the needs of the underprivileged.

The occasion marked the inauguration of the distribution of a substantial quantity of rice, generously donated by Senator Abdullahi Yari in honor of the president.

Representing President Tinubu, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, the Senior Special Assistant on Print Media, expressed gratitude for the benevolent gesture.

He underscored its significance in providing essential support to those facing hardship during these challenging times.

“All over the world, leadership is not the sole responsibility of one individual,” Tinubu stated.

“We must come together, united as a nation, to forge ahead toward a better Nigeria.”

His words resonated with the spirit of compassion and shared responsibility that defines the holy month of Ramadan.

Senator Yari’s donation of 140 truckloads of rice, each labeled with his name and picture, is a commendable effort to alleviate suffering.

The commodity will go a long way in easing the burden faced by many vulnerable households.

Tinubu praised Yari’s commitment to supporting the needy and other vulnerable members of society.

In his address, President Tinubu also urged Nigerians to pray fervently for the unity, peace, and progress of the country during this sacred period.

Ramadan serves as a time for reflection, empathy, and spiritual growth, and the president’s call for collective prayers reinforces the importance of compassion and goodwill.

Dr. Abubakar Danburam, the representative of Senator Yari, provided details about the rice donation.

The 140 trucks carry a total of 84,000 bags of rice, each weighing 50 kilograms.

This substantial quantity will be distributed to at least around 500,000 households in the northern region of Nigeria.

He stated that the action was meant to support Tinubu’s initiatives in aiding the less fortunate and other vulnerable members of society.

Yari urged Nigerians to pray for relief from the economic challenges facing the country.
