On Thursday, the Kano State High Court adjourned a hearing in all pending preliminary objections in the ongoing case of alleged bribery and misappropriation involving the All Progressive Congress (APC) National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, and seven others to April 15.
The state government last year filed an eight-count charge of bribery, misappropriation, and diversion of public funds running into billions of Naira against Ganduje, his wife, Hafsat Umar, and six others.
Others are Abubakar Bawuro, Umar Abdullahi Umar, Jibrilla Muhammad, Lamash Properties Limited, Safari Textiles Limited and Lasage General Enterprises Limited.
Adedipe in a motion on notice filed on February 5 sought an extension of time to enable the respondents to regularise the preliminary objection.
Justice Amina Adamu-Aliyu granted all the applications for an extension of time.
