BREAKING: Annie Idibia Finally Breaks Silence On Divorce From 2Baba

Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has broken her silence two months after her husband, Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia, announced their separation.
Annie, on Thursday, took to her Instagram page to express gratitude to her family, friends and followers for their show of love during her difficult time.
She wrote, “To my family, to my friends who came through for me, to the support system I have now, to all my amazing family HERE and all over the world. God bless you for the outpouring of love. I appreciate every single one of you, and I do not take any of it for granted. May the universe continue to be in your favour. God bless you all. Lots of LOVE.”
The actress also wiped all previous posts from her Instagram page.
THE WHISTLER reported that 2Baba announced their breakup in January 2025.
The couple, who share two children, was admired for a long time in the entertainment industry.
Meanwhile, 2Baba has found love in the arms of Edo State House of Assembly lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru.
The singer proposed a wedding to Osawaru barely three weeks after announcing the crash of his 12-year marriage with Annie Macauley.
2Baba’s relationship with Osawaru came to light after a surprise appearance at the Edo State House of Assembly during plenary in January.
Osawaru represents the Egor Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party in the Edo assembly and is the deputy majority leader of the house.
In February, 2Baba absolved the lawmaker of allegations that she wrecked his marriage with Annie.
“…I have been seeing so many things, so many people coming up with their own false narratives and malicious nonsense after I posted that stuff that I posted.
“Hon. Natasha has been dragged; she has been called all sorts of names; she has been labelled as a home breaker. She is a young, brilliant, amazing woman, and she had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage,” 2Baba said in a video post on Instagram.
