BREAKING: As Singer, Falz Reacts After lawmakers asked Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government to subsidize Hajj

Nigerian singer, Falz has taken to social media to air his opinion, following the House of Representatives’ request to president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration with regards to bringing down the cost of this year’s Islamic pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

Recall that the Nigerian lawmakers had few days ago, asked president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government to subsidize Hajj which was officially fixed for the sum of 5 million Naira.

According to Kaduna state lawmaker, Umar Ajilo who led such motion, the pilgrimage is an important pillar of the Islamic religion that requires the visitation of the holy mosques and other historical sites in Saudi Arabia, adding that the 5 million Naira fixed for this year’s Hajj fare is unsuitable for middle and low-income intending pilgrims, and the government should intervene by subsidizing such fare.

And so Nigerian rapper, Falz in reaction to such demand from the lawmakers, took to his official Instagram story to state that so it is time for them to actually start doing something.
