BREAKING: Atiku’s Camp Asserts Nyesom Wike’s Inevitable Expulsion From PDP, Citing Serial Betrayals

The team supporting the presidential candidacy of Atiku Abubakar in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has stated that the Federal Capital Territory minister, Nyesom Wike, is on the brink of being expelled from the primary opposition party.

Don Pedro Obaseki, Atiku’s Director of Research, Strategy, and Documentation, argued that Wike’s recent call for Atiku’s expulsion, along with his consistent criticisms of the PDP and a history of disloyalty, have left him with no escape from expulsion.

Obaseki, speaking during a press conference in Abuja on Monday, asserted that Wike has played a role in various internal crises within the PDP. He emphasized that Wike is currently the root cause of the PDP’s problems, making his expulsion a necessary step for the party.

Obaseki also pointed out the irony in Wike’s call for the expulsion of Atiku and other party figures, stating, “The person who deserves to be expelled from the party is the man who is calling for the expulsion of others from the party.”

Furthermore, Obaseki accused Wike of establishing a faction within the party known as the G-5, operating contrary to the party’s constitution and structures.

He asserted that Wike’s actions and campaigns against the party’s interests have been detrimental and that he has consistently opposed various party members.

In conclusion, Obaseki made it clear that the PDP would not tolerate Wike’s behavior any longer and was prepared to take action against him, asserting that they would confront the situation head-on.
