Former Ekiti State governor Mr. Peter Ayodele Fayose criticised the former President Muhammadu Buhari’s government on Sunday during an interview on Channels Television. He maintained that Nigerians did not benefit from Muhammadu Buhari’s presidency.
In response to the assertion that Nigerians have been experiencing severe financial difficulty due to the sharp increase in the cost of food and other necessities over the last several months, Peter Ayodele made this statement.
Fayose advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to stop praising Muhammadu Buhari publicly, because he doesn’t deserve it due to the way he ruled the country while he was the president.
He said, “The only thing I want to say to President Tinubu without fear is that, the President should stop praising Buhari. I watched a live television program of Tinubu telling Nigerians that Buhari did well…he served the nation.”
Further talking, he said, ” Let me say to you that will cause a confusion in the minds of Nigerians. Yes, he is a member of your party, he is your leader, there are so many recommendations you can make without celebrating the man who has put Nigeria into this critical position.”
