Popular Nollywood actor and comedian, Baba Tee, has publicly apologized to his colleague, Ijoba Lande, over the recent controversy involving Lande’s wife, Dara.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Baba Tee expressed regret, saying, “I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother. Deep… how Dara became Lande’s wife without my knowledge… Hmmm. Aiye mojuba obinrin.”
This apology comes after weeks of public dispute and allegations surrounding the relationship between Baba Tee and Lande’s estranged wife.
The controversy began when Ijoba Lande accused Baba Tee, alongside other entertainers, of having affairs with his wife, a claim that reportedly led to their separation.
Lande expressed his disappointment in a viral video, where he also called out his manager, Mary Gold, for introducing his wife to Baba Tee without informing him of her marital status.
Baba Tee initially denied any wrongdoing, stating that he had no prior knowledge that Dara was married.
He challenged Ijoba Lande to provide evidence of the alleged affair, insisting that he had only met Dara through Mary Gold in mid-2024 when she was introduced as a content creator and aspiring actress.
Amidst the heated exchanges, Mary Gold further complicated the situation by claiming that Dara herself had initiated a challenge during a game of “Truth or Dare,” which led to the alleged encounter.
