BREAKING: Bashir Ahmad Responded Prof Moghalu For the Released Figures Showing Buhari’s Failure In Area Of Economy

Speaking further, Mr Bashir Ahmad accused the previous governments before Buhari of failing to revive our rail way system and build the second Niger bridge, despite repeated promises.

Mr Bashir Ahmad made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Friday, he noted that it was when former President Buhari emerged as president in 2015, the story was entirely different.

Some parts of his post read: “Indeed, the facts are no one’s mate, and that is why one must question what tangible achievements those fantastic figures have brought to Nigeria in light of the growth and boom experienced in that period. Do those numbers help us to achieve self-sufficiency in any of our basic needs?

“Those statistics and facts would have been greater and sweeter if they had resulted in stable electricity in at least one of the 36 states or even in the capital, Abuja. However, it is also a fact that those figures fell short. They failed to revive our railway system and were unable to build the 2nd Niger Bridge despite repeated promises.

“Those numbers failed to record any progress on critical infrastructure, like the Lagos-Ibadan, Abuja-Kano, and Kano-Maiduguri expressways and others. The numbers frowned at our infrastructure and wellbeing of fellow citizens.”

The Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Professor Kingsley Moghalu, recently posted figures showing how Nigeria economy performed since Nigeria returned to democracy. According to the figures, Buhari was the worst performing president.
